Fairytales

I have always loved fairytales. The triumph of good over evil and the clever over the seemingly insurmountable odds. Teaching can be like an adventure or a quest. Slay a dragon, find the pot of gold, or rescue someone.  Motivate a kid who is several grade levels behind, transition to the Common Core by 2015, or manage the many young people that pass through a classroom. Each day is a new challenge. Teaching is for the brave of heart and the persistent.

The goal always being a happy ending!
